Virgo Lunar Eclipse 2025: Rising Sign Horoscopes (March 10th - 16th)

Writer's picture: Joe G. SantosJoe G. Santos

I don't know about you, but considering March's astrological events, this has been one of my most anticipated months of the year (even though it happens right out of the gate).

What I've been most focused on is how difficult it is to make any plans until March's astrological influences subside. The eclipses, coupled with the Venus and Mercury retrograde I've been discussing for weeks, bring many unpredictable and unforeseen events to the table. But now that we're here, I hope you're as excited as I am to finally get answers to questions that have been lingering for almost a year now.

Still, this week is just the beginning of a whirlwind of plot-twisting events. I hope these horoscopes provide you with a few hints about what this Lunar Eclipse in Virgo means for you, and how you might engage (or disengage) with it.

Monday: Electric Feel

The moon is waxing steadily in Leo, promising a surprisingly fruitful day as it aligns with a Mercury-Venus trine and a Jupiter sextile. Since the moon isn’t focusing on challenging planets like Mars and Saturn, the emphasis is on moving forward with your eyes fixed on the prize. However, with a tense Uranus square on the horizon, be prepared for some disruptive excitement. Things might not go as planned, but the astrology suggests that may not be such a bad thing after all.

Difficulty: 1 Utility: 3

Signs of Focus: Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, Pisces

Tuesday: Geez... Are We There Yet?

Mars in Cancer is still sluggish and contemplative but pointing towards progress. Under Saturn's influence while retracing our steps post-retrograde, we’re revisiting and revising past actions, at a slow, slow, slooooooow build-up. Patience is essential, as this languid process is bound to test anyone's endurance.

Difficulty: 2 Utility: 1.5

Signs of Focus: Aries, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius.

Wednesday: Rad Moves Bruv

A person skateboards mid-air in a desert-like setting with cacti. Another person films with a phone. The sky is bright orange, enhancing action.

March 12th brings a standout moment for Mercury under a half-baked benefic reception from Venus and Jupiter. This is Mercury's mischievous moment of triumph. Despite skirting close to trouble, there's a remarkable chance for creativity and gaining attention (maybe for the wrong reasons). Be wary of prying eyes; the retrograde looms ahead.

Difficulty: 2.5 Utility: 3.5

Signs of Focus: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Pisces.

Thursday: Who Did That?

On March 13th, Jupiter's influence is at play as it watches over Mercury and Venus' antics from a safe distance. There's an air of detached observation of the chaos to come. It's a day of complacency amid the unfolding pandemonium.

Difficulty: 2 Utility: 2

Signs of Focus: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces.

Friday: Her Manifesto

Friday coincides with our lunar eclipse and Venus’ day. With Venus in Aries, out of her element, we witness personal and collective revelations. This eclipse urges us to expunge what no longer fits the framework of our modern values, as Venus carries a manifesto for change toward newer agreements. The eclipse energy amplifies the day’s difficulty but could offer a release of outdated paradigms.

Difficulty: 3.5 Utility: 2

Signs of Focus: Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Pisces.

Saturday: I Can See It Now!!!

Saturday features Saturn in post-Cazimi clarity, embodying a transition toward a more constructive and governing phase. Held by Mars through this transformative period, Saturn is less cranky and more visionary—inviting us to embrace the path ahead while using the fear presented by lurking challenges as a vehicle toward a newfound anarchic sense of autonomy.

Difficulty: 3 Utility: 2.5

Signs of Focus: Aries, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.

Sunday: Uuuuh... What Now?

A man on a boat with sacks looks at a large octopus in the sea beneath a ship. Dark, wavy water creates a tense atmosphere.

The Sun in Pisces is confronted by surprise disruptions during the eclipse season. While the journey to Aries is inevitable, dealing with unexpected upheavals mirrors the uncertain energy coursing through today. High difficulty with minimal utility signals a day to release control. Hold steady, but don't freak out.

Difficulty: 3.5 Utility: 1

Signs of Focus: Leo, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.

Virgo Lunar Eclipse Horoscope For Your Rising Sign: March 10th - 16th

Aries Rising: Labor

This Lunar Eclipse is occurring in an area of your chart that's strongly tied to labor and the toll it takes on your body. Considering that your ruling planet Mars is still trying his best to pick up the pace, it's easy to see that what you might need is to let go and take a day off (or seven). Pushing through and toughening up just isn't going to cut it this time. In many ways, trying to muster energy you don't have could have some real consequences this week.

Taurus Rising: Pleasure

Listening to astrologers talk about eclipses might make it easy to think that eclipses are always bad, but that's not necessarily true—especially when they're happening in the area of your chart that deals with entertainment and pleasure. Despite your ruling planet Venus being in rough condition right now, this eclipse could bring some excitement to help distract you from your troubles. The only red flag is that Venus is still pushing you to overdo the partying a little, so be careful not to overindulge in something you love, or you risk turning it into something you cannot stand later.

Gemini Rising: Home

Mercury going bonkers, coupled with the Lunar Eclipse happening in the part of your chart that deals with stability, is well... destabilizing. Despite what Mercury might be urging you to do, this is not a week to take risks. Even places that once made you feel safe and protected might not yield the same results this week. It's a good time to find shelter somewhere new; A new safe haven where even Mercury's retrograde craziness won't reach you.

Cancer Rising: Day to Day

While this Eclipse occurs in a relatively undramatic area of your chart, it's precisely this lack of drama that makes it tricky to navigate. The Virgo Eclipse is here to shake up your day-to-day routine, throwing the carefully crafted schedule you've worked hard to create right out the window. But that's no reason to despair. If you heed this week's horoscope advice, Monday is your day to prepare for the incoming wave of disturbances. By staying ahead of the chaos, you'll find that by the time eclipse season is over, this stress test is exactly what you needed to ensure you have the time and space to juggle all the different aspects of your life with Virgo-like precision.

Leo Rising: Money

An Eclipse is just a very extra Full Moon. Typically, having a Full Moon in the area of the chart that deals with money isn’t too bad of a deal. The difference here is that an eclipse like this one will require a bit of a fee for delivering the goods. This can be promising in the long run, but right now, making an investment of such a caliber may feel very scary. Considering all the retrogrades, it might indeed not be the best time to move forward with any purchases or investments. Just know that the eclipses will come around again in months to come, and that fee will have to be paid one way or another.

Virgo Rising: You

An Eclipse happening in your own sign is always hard to understand because it puts you at the forefront of the drama. This means that these events aren't so much happening to you, but that you're likely the one eclipsing everybody. Considering the Venus and Mercury conjunction this week, along with your ruling planet Mercury going retrograde, it's wise to be careful not to cramp anyone's style, or you risk losing vital support for your causes.

Libra Rising: Entrapment

This Eclipse happens in an area of your chart that is ever so mystifying. It deals closely with habits and concepts that hold you hostage in one way or another—be they manias, fears, or even outright enemies determined to get you. But considering that an eclipse like this acts as a drain valve, it might actually be better than expected. Though more eclipses will come, this could be the beginning of a process of detachment from these bad influences. The big question is: What will you do when there's no one or nothing else to blame for your conundrums?

Scorpio Rising: Allies

This Virgo Lunar Eclipse is happening in the part of your chart that deals with friends. While that might be a little unsettling (no one likes friendships being eclipsed), chances are you'll agree that it's time to get some new faces in your roster. This doesn't have to mean that old friends lose their place, but at the very least, this week's eclipse is creating new seats at the table.

Sagittarius Rising: Reputation

This upcoming eclipse is happening at the very top of your chart—a rather tough placement for eclipses because it disrupts and changes how we're seen in public. For Sagittarians ready for something new, this can be great, but for those who have been enjoying stability, not so much. The key to working with this transit is to face the fact that something you used to do might not feel aligned with who you are anymore. If you feel resistant, just know that there could very well be a new venture waiting on the horizon, but if you only focus on what’s setting in your life, you'll never see the grand sunrise around the corner.

Capricorn Rising: Understanding

This upcoming series of eclipses is rather existential for you. It's occurring in the part of your chart that's most related to your philosophy of life, religion, or simply your overall understanding of who you are in the world and what you're here to do. Without sugarcoating it, this could invite a bit of an identity crisis. But considering that your ruling planet Saturn is also getting ready to change signs and gain a bit more dignity in doing so, it would be wise to follow where this "crisis" leads you. You could very well discover a whole new world. You may have to build things from the ground up, but at least you'll know that the framework you're standing upon is of your own making.

Aquarius Rising: Inactivity

The Virgo Eclipse targets an area of your chart that represents inertia—the space where you expect others to take action for you. With the Eclipse occurring there, it's likely that you'll find a scarcity of people ready to step up. Whether it's financial or moral support you need during this time, be prepared to work a little harder for that kind of backing. And while you might be tempted to handle it on your own, you'll quickly find out that may not be the best idea. The challenge here is to discover support in places you might not have looked yet.

Pisces Rising: Partnerships

No one understands the complexities of love and partnership better than a Pisces, and that's exactly what makes this transit so tricky for you. It's occurring in a part of your chart that governs partnerships—romantic or otherwise. This can be a time when your partner's emotions come overflowing, and they may not be ready to deal with them just yet. As a Pisces, you might have a deeper understanding of what's going on, but giving a lecture isn’t the way to go here. This is something they must come to terms with on their own, while you focus on your own path and let them have their moment.
